My car lease was up. The inspector came today. A stocky young man, the inspector was way too efficient and knowledgeable about cars for me to have anything in common with him. But, in the 45 minutes that he dissected my car from top to bottom , underneath, inside and out from every angle we got to talking.
He moved from Arkansas to Albuquerque. He told me that he was interested in the performing arts in the area. I thought that he was looking for theaters. It seems that he started doing ballet many years ago to build himself up physically and now is a professional ballet dancer. After my jaw dropped, he told me that he was in The Nutcracker and La Boheme among many others, and he started to teach me some performing arts terms. His girlfriend teaches dance to underprivileged children.
Of all the possibilities, I never would have connected him to being a ballet dancer.
It just goes to show, ya never know!
