When Too Much Is Not Enough

IMG_2453Originally from New York, my chiropractor has lived in Santa Fe for over twenty years. When I asked her if she remembered her east coast family roots, she said, “You mean my over-achieving, always stressed out, too much is not enough background?”

“Too much is not enough” got me thinking. I remembered congratulating my very close friend on the publication of her book and she replied, “But I’m going to write a better book and make a video series.”

Abraham (channeled through Esther Hicks) says that when we stop dreaming of more it is time for our physical lives to be over. New desires stimulate energy and enthusiasm. But there is also a time to appreciate what is, to feel that we are enough, when our present experience and our accomplishments are to be celebrated, enjoyed and shared, letting others know that we feel that they are enough, too. It’s a tricky balance, but both are important and can be embraced, inspiring in an unexpected way.

A good friend of mine said “Too much chocolate gives you a
Belly Ache,”. Yes, let’s just breathe….
