Rotating Foods

Some foods are really good for us and we eat them everyday.  After all, if they are good one day, wouldn’t they get exponentially better if eaten more often?  According to some nutritionists, certain foods are really good but only if eaten every other day or every four days, and that varies from person to person.  A well-rounded diet with variety is usually the healthiest.

A good rule of thumb is to notice how you feel.  You can actually feel which foods shut you down and which ones will provide energy.  A slight queasiness in the stomach or flash of chills can give an indication that you are about to do something that is not going to agree with you.  Or, you might have other ways of noticing what is going to nourish or diminish your energy.

Our bodies have an innate knowledge of what it needs at any particular time.  Don’t let your mind override what your body knows.
