Opening Doors With Positive Choices

IMG_1305Let’s talk about being positive. I just read an article by author Reid Tracy about his father-in-law, Marvelous Marv, who enjoyed life no matter what were the circumstances. In his eighties with serious health issues, he played golf and went to favorite restaurants with his wife and friends. When wheelchair-bound and in a neck brace he interviewed drivers with a convertible who could take him to the beach, always with a smile and kind interest in others.

It is said that choosing the best option in any given moment will bring joy and the next set of options will come from a higher level of peace and happiness. I tried this out yesterday during a simple and usually unconscious chore. While washing the dishes, I thought about turning on the news, watching for a delivery truck, or listening to chanting music. I opted for the music and it hit the spot. Being aware of choices during the rest of my day, I found myself feeling lighter and happier.

Abraham (channeled through Esther Hicks) adds:  As you begin to feel freer, doors will open, people will come to assist you, refreshing and productive ideas will occur to you, and circumstances and events will unfold.  As you change the way you feel, you access the Energy that creates worlds.  It is there for your ready access at all times.

I love reading about how you put making choices into action. A concrete example like how to enjoy washing dishes is encouraging. Thank you!
