Breathe and Vote Everyday

IMG_6216Many of us are exhaling a sigh of relief that the election is over. It was a tremendous drain these past few months and anxieties ran high. Some are energized with the results, others are afraid and depressed.

While the election is over, our votes are not finished. Everyday we get the opportunity to vote again through our voices, our actions and our examples of how to live. Now more than ever it is important to treat each other with kindness, inclusion, tolerance, and consideration. We are all hurting. Get outside of yourself and try to understand what other people are feeling that influenced their decisions.

We are a nation whose divisions can be a catalyst for healing. Each of us needs to participate in stepping us up to a higher plane. Engage in whatever lifts your heart physically, emotionally and spiritually. Breathe, hope, play classical music, walk barefoot on the grass and, above all, be open to change. Take the time to look inward and to explore. None of us knows what the future will bring, but one thing is for sure – love is more powerful than fear. Be sure to cast your ballot today.
