We were laying on yoga mats and our teacher was leading us through a meditation. He made the most simple, yet pertinent, statements. I want to share some of them with you.
“The person walking toward me is kind.
The person walking toward me has my best interest in mind.
I am beginning to trust myself more and more.
There is a place for me in every part of my life.”
These thoughts made me slow down and have faith in basic feelings of safety and hope. There is a time to allow ourselves to be distracted by technology. (I don’t really believe that!) Today I was particularly appreciating unconscious beliefs of distrust in others and myself and the ease with which they can be abandoned. These statements brought the energy from my head to my heart and central core, and they set the tone for the rest of the day. I hope that they improve your day, too.
