Are You Fully Alive?

There is something about my qigong teacher. I can’t quite put my finger on it.

He is extremely adept at creating and transmitting the forms. When he laughs the room lights up sparking many to say that he sounds like Robin Williams. He speaks of Greek mythology like they are his friends. When in his kung fu stance he is the most powerful force and the most delicate creature, his muscular body landing silently on seasoned feet. He is spontaneously playful yet deeply reverent regarding Taoist ironies. He identifies with being both male and female and brings eroticism into any discussion.

What is it about him? He is charismatic? He is brilliant? He is unique and magnetic? Now I get it. He is fully alive.  Making no excuses for his creativity and drive he studies and teaches, dances and looks you in the eye in his own way – spontaneous like a child before we smother him with controls. He embraces and rejects it all making him worthy of being trusted.  He is fully and authentically alive.

I could feel his aliveness through your words. What a gift you have in making the words come alive. You are life expressed here and now just like your friend and teacher is.
Loving and embracing life fully in each moment is the best gift we give ourselves and each other.
Thank you Ellie for who you are and sharing you with me and all. ❤️❤️❤️
