Blame It On the Full Moon

IMG_5516Why was I up at 4 am moving furniture?  Why did I wake up with such a pressing inspiration?  At the time, it made total sense.  As the morning unfolded, I didn’t feel that urgency anymore.  But, I am glad that I did it.  I got to see the full moon illuminate the sky and usher in the morning with oranges, desert turquoise and hot pink.  As I sat on my porch eating steaming leftovers of rice, hard-boiled eggs, avocado and sardines, (trying not to notice that a sardine tail was sticking out of my spoon), I watched the full moon in its eminent brilliance defer its dominance of the sky to the rising sun.  They work in tandem, one handing off to the other.

Good morning to you!  It’s going to be a good day.

Love this! I woke up yesterday saying the same thing, “it’s going to be a good day!”
